FOSDEM: What translating Thunderbird taught me

I had a talk where I shared my journey translating Thunderbird into Bulgarian in the last years. I had so many challenges and I overcome some of them. If you are on a similar journey, maybe you’ll learn something amazing.

Summary

I contribute to Mozilla Project since 2005. I spent the majority of that time translating, localizing and QA-ing that effort.

In the last years I am focusing on Thunderbird both Desktop and Mobile.

I’d love to share some things I learned for that time which will help you to grow as a translator and as a community member: – Is consistency important.
