The following two weeks will be filled with free and open-source software (FOSS) activities for me.
Thunderbird Council
I am running for one of the seats of the Thunderbird Council – the governing body for the Thunderbird project. If you have voting rights for the project, please look at the mailing list, see what I want to achieve, and consider supporting me. I am also open for conversations in matrix @bogomil:fedora.im.
FOSDEM
FOSDEM is a free event for software developers to meet, share ideas, and collaborate. I will be there volunteering and speaking. You can see my Sunday morning wake-up talk about the fun we lost as a community and my short closing talk at the Modern Email room about the future of email from a consumer POV.
OpenStreetMap
My employer, GEN Digital (ex-Norton, ex- Avast, ex-Symantec), is pairing up with Doctors Without Borders for a workshop about mapping new regions. I will contribute some time there as well. It was a long time ago when I did that.
KDE Plasma 6
Fedora KDE Sig is organizing a Plasma 6 testing week. I switched to KDE for some time now, and I love it. I plan to spend a few hours executing some of the test scenarios. Do it as well if you are using Fedora and KDE.
